Deodorant, not antiperspirant

An antiperspirant uses aluminium salts to block the sweat ducts so you stop sweating. Neither of these does that. They use potassium alum, a natural mineral salt, to work against the bacteria that turn sweat into odour, so the body sweats normally and the pores stay clear. That is also why they leave no yellow marks on shirts.

About dark underarms

Darker underarm skin is common and usually comes from friction and irritation rather than the skin itself changing: shaving and hair removal, tight clothing, a build-up of dead skin cells, and hormonal changes such as pregnancy. Because irritation is often the trigger, a gentler formula can help simply by not adding to the problem. Our whitening roll-on also carries liquorice root extract, valued for helping the underarm look more even in tone with regular use. It is not a bleaching product and contains no hydroquinone or kojic acid.
